HELLO! this is ava ____. gambit and ava met at his nineteenth birthday party, and it was the two of them from that point out. he was working as a mechanic to support himself, and soon ava, while she went off and did whatever you'd like (whether she had a stable job is completely up to you. i never really thought about what she was doing while slade was off at work). it was mostly just alcohol, drugs, and sex for them. about a year into their 'relationship', ava stopped picking up her birth control. naturally, slade freaked out, because he was only twenty, and he wasn't ready for a kid. they were doing too many drugs, partying too much to bring a kid into that, but ava was determined to become a mother. their usage stopped, but ava cracked before gambit. when he discovered, he made her swear that she'd never touch anything ever again while that child was inside of her, or else he was leaving. ava stuck true to her word, in fear that her only love would up and leave.

it went on for two years after they had their baby girl, antonia. ava started doing crank again behind gambit's back while he was off at work, making their living. she was so desperate one night that the only way she could get a hit was if she sold her body for it. gambit or her daughter was the last thing to go through her head when she gave her dealer the address. and then gambit walked in on the worst sight imaginable; your old lady in bed with another man, and your daughter's crib about five feet away. he lost his shit, to say the least. he didn't raise a hand to ava, though. how he restrained himself from killing her dealer, though? no idea. after he was kicked out, and gambit had calmed toni down to sleep again, him and ava had a very long, serious conversation about where they were going, and what they were going to do to get there. he wanted this to work. he wanted his daughter, and his daughter's mother, together. he loved them both, and nothing she did would change that. so he thought. he woke the next morning, and she was gone. so was toni. everything was missing, between their clothes, to pictures. she'd just up and left him.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO. i think it'd be amazing if someone picked up ava for me, and had her still be surviving. he took off to canada after ava fucked off to try and get a new life, so they've had a lot of time to not be together. she could've had different reasons for leaving, like someone was after her or something, if you're not alright with her being scared of monogomy or anything.

i'm thinking that their daughter's been infected, so we don't have to worry about toni. but the fact that she became infected under ava's care will definitely add a lot more to their plate once they come face to face with each other.

we can work out details whenever this gets picked up. i like colaberating more so with my writing partners for this kinda stuff, so. also, the face claim is open, but i'd love it if you waited for me to say yes or no before getting deadset on her. gambit's a really specific kind of guy, and he prooobably wouldn't have had a kid with someone who looks like britney spears. i'm just sayin' ;D
