CROW.
dead and broken. my back's against the wall. cut me open. i'm just trying to breathe. just trying to figure it out, because i built these walls to watch them crumbling down. i said, "then i lost it all." who can save me now?"

PERSONALITY
fragile , crow had always been a polite, well mannered child. she was the girl next door sort but when she saw her father rip apart her baby brother, when she killed both of her parents, and skidded out of their driveway, she changed. her mind is in a delicate state and she acts almost child-like. that’s not to say that she’s not intelligent but her mind simply cannot handle the stress of the current events that had taken place. she acts like everything is fine and can be often found humming or dancing on the streets when the infected aren’t swarming the roads. when it comes to conversation and meeting others, she is somewhat wary but is more than thrilled to have the company. unless the company wants to talk about the infected, then she disregards the conversation.
unpredictable , because of her fragile mind, crow is unpredictable. there are times when she lashes out, slaughtering the infected without a second thought and others where her mind shuts down. it would serve as wise not to mess with her because there’s no telling what she is willing to do. especially when it comes to her survival, she’ll stop at nothing to stay alive if only to know if Meredith is alive or dead. even if that means killing those that are human.
intelligent , being a valedictorian isn’t a cake walk and so, it’s obvious that crow isn’t stupid. however, she has never really had to fend for herself when it comes to the real world. she always had her family’s support and guidance, never really having to do things on her own. crow isn’t exactly street smart, but she’s adapting, perhaps even quicker than others.
driven , from a young age, crow has always been a hardworking person. she sets a goal for herself and she pushes herself to meet it. from her dancing to her academics to her relationships. she works at things so she can better herself. her current goal, other than staying alive, is to find Meredith.
caring , crow cares a great deal about people but with her new state of mind, that seems to be changing. while, she stills cares about the wellbeing of others, she wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize her survival. however, children seem to be her weak spot.
loyal , she is supremely loyal and nothing could ever sway her opinions on those she cares about and trusts. even if her loved ones have damning evidence on them, she will go up to bat for them any day and doesn’t care about the consequences. if anyone was to ever gain her complete trust, they would be rewarded greatly by her generosity and her loyalty.
takes everything onto herself , when it comes to mistakes, she will put them on herself almost always. because of her driven and caring nature, it’s easy for her to take responsibility for her failures and others. she puts all blame on herself when things go awry and usually bottles up her thoughts and feelings on the subjects. she prefers to sort them out later by herself, when she has the chance.

HISTORY
Crow was not named after a bird outside her mother’s window. Originally, she was given the name Gemma Isabelle Erikson but she changed it when she became a survivor of the virus. She will not respond to anything else and insists that her name has always been Crow. Anyways, she was born in the suburbs in a quaint little development. Her family wasn’t made of money but they were well off. Her father worked in finance and her mother was a real estate agent. Her father was the protective sort and, of course, she was daddy’s little girl. However, she had a good relationship with both of her parents and they were all very vocal about their feelings – they believed in open communication. So, when Crow told them that she was a lesbian, they encouraged her growth and supported her in every way that they could. All in all, they had a healthy relationship.
When it came to academics, Crow was the top of her class and graduated as a valedictorian. She liked to learn and was one of the kids who enjoyed school. Crow was a part of numerous clubs like environmental club, glbta awareness, honors society, student council, and the like. But, her biggest passion was dance, specifically ballet. When she wasn’t studying she was practicing for her recitals and was often hard on herself when she was to make a mistake. Yet, her family was always there to dust her off and to give her the strength she needed to continue.
After she graduated she headed off to college and eventually landed a job as a dance instructor, part time. It was during her second year at college and everything was going well for the Erikson family. Her mother gave birth to a second child, a son, and Crow met Meredith. Crow had, on a whim, stopped at an old fashion dinner that was open twenty four hours. It was around 2am when she went and her waitress had been an older woman named Meredith. The pair hit it off almost instantaneously, almost like love at first sight. They were on their fourth month of dating, beginning to take their relationship to the next level, when the outbreak occurred.
Crow was at home while Meredith remained in the city because she had some shifts that she couldn’t get covered. The family thought they were safe in their house while all their neighbors started going ravenous, that is, until Crow saw her father change right before her eyes. Her baby brother, Matthew, was right next to him and she watched as her father ripped him apart. Blood was everywhere and it took all her might not to scream, she didn’t want to risk the blood entering her mouth. Instead, she wiped the blood from her face and bashed her father’s head in with a book end.
When she looked for her mother, she discovered her upstairs, just as ravenous as her father. And so, Crow killed her too. She took what she could, shed her real name, and peeled out of the driveway with her father’s truck – heading into the city, against all odds, to see if Meredith was alive and well.

INVENTORY
A SURVIVOR
- s&m whip , her parents enjoyed their toys and when things all went to hell, crow found one of their play things and decided to use it to her advantage - she figured it was better than a buzzing dildo, right? the whip is black, durable, with a solid handle. it's approximately seven inches long, not including the handle.
- knife , it belonged to her mother and it usually resided closer to her - in her car, purse, under her pillow, etc. crow's mother always kept a knife on her, mainly because her husband wanted it for her protection. crow grabbed it from her mother's purse and now carries it around with her, along with it's sheath.
- pearl ring , it was a ring that her grandmother gave to her - it was supposed to act as a purity ring. while crow has never had sex with a man, she has with a few women, and so - it resembles her purity from invading cocks. the ring is a silver band with two pieces that curve around the pearl.
